The Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada won eight awards in the 2010 Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (I.F.C.A.) Annual Awards Competition. This program recognizes excellence in marketing and communications creativity, design and writing in the North American insurance and financial services industry.
Several of the winning entries will be familiar to pension and benefits professionals.
- The “Always Calculating” advertising campaign that aims to reinforce the company’s ability to effectively develop investment products for retirement.
- The Summary of Pension Legislation in Canada: a document mainly intended for group retirement plans sponsors to help them understand the main requirements of Canada’s federal and provincial pension legislation that may apply to their plan.
- Standard Life’s “Your guide to Small business solutions” for group insurance benefits advisors

The awards will be presented at the 2010 I.F.C.A. Annual Conference to be held in October, in Montreal.
